Day 1 - June 2, 2021: Depart Denver for your flight to Halifax. (D) Welcome to beautiful Halifax! Meet your Tour Manager at the airport, travel to your hotel. Welcome Dinner included at local restaurant. Overnight in Halifax: Barrington Hotel
Day 2 - June 3, 2021: Halifax & Peggy’s Cove (B,L) Breakfast at hotel Today we’ll tour the fascinating city of Halifax. We’ll visit the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. You’ll be amazed at the Maritime’s vast collection of artifacts relating to the marine history of Nova Scotia. Later we’ll visit Peggy’s Cove, one of the most photographed locations in Nova Scotia. With its weathered buildings and fleet of fishing boats, the area is an artist’s paradise. The Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse serves as the local post office. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Back in Halifax you will stop for photos at the Citadel Hill National Historic Site and visit Fairview Lawn Cemetery, where some of the victims of the Titanic were laid to rest. Day 3 - June 4, 2021: Halifax, Mahone Bay & Lunenburg (B,L) Breakfast at hotel Depart this morning and you will drive to Mahone Bay. There you will have some photo ops of the churches and have some time to explore some of the many local craft shops. Next you will make your way to Lunenburg. There you will enjoy a walking tour and visit the Fisheries Museum. Have a wonderful group lunch and then continue exploring the museum and town on your own. Later in the afternoon you will board the coach and return to Halifax for an evening at leisure. Overnight in Halifax: Barrington Hotel
Day 4 - June 5, 2021: Halifax, Digby & St. John (B,L) Breakfast at hotel After checking out of your hotel this morning you will drive to the Grand Pré Winery for a tour. It is Atlantic Canada’s oldest Farm Winery, founded in the late 1970s, and owned and operated by the Stutz family. You will also have the opportunity to have a lovely lunch at the winery restaurant LeCaveau. This afternoon continue to Digby to board the ferry to St. John. Dinner is on your own tonight and it is recommended to eat on the ferry. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel and have the rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight in St. John: Delta Saint John
Day 5 - June 6, 2021: St. Andrews & Nature Cruise (B,D) Breakfast at hotel Get in touch with the natural side of the area with a beautiful nature cruise this morning followed by some free time to explore St. Andrews. Later in the afternoon you will visit the New Brunswick Museum, Canada's oldest continuing museum. Today the museum continues to collect, preserve, study and exhibit the Province's natural and cultural heritage. As well as having a remarkable natural sciences collection, the museum has expanded to include one of the largest collections of 19thcentury decorative arts and Canadiana in the Atlantic provinces. Day 6 - June 7, 2021: St. John & Charlottetown (B,L) Breakfast at hotel This morning, check out of your hotel and transfer to Hopewell Rocks, one of New Brunswick’s top attractions, located along the coast of the Bay of Fundy, which is home to the world's highest tides. At the Interpretation Center you will enjoy the interactive displays on ecology, history and over 170 species of birds. After lunch, continue to Charlottetown and check-in to your next hotel. Day 7 - June 8, 2021: Prince Edward Island (B,D) Breakfast at hotel Set off today for a full day tour of Prince Edward Island. Begin with a city tour of Charlottetown and then continue to then onto “Green Gables” famed by author L.M. Montgomery. Next enter the Prince Edward Island National Park. Have a quick stop in the village of North Rustico and then visit the Prince Edward Island Preserve Co. Tonight indulge in a Lobster dinner at New Glasgow Lobster Suppers. Day 8 - June 9, 2021: Charlottetown - Baddeck (B,L) Breakfast at hotel Check out of your hotel this morning and you will transfer to the ferry terminal. You will have a lovely lunch at a local restaurant and then continue to Baddeck. This afternoon, stop for a visit to the Bell Museum which contains the largest repository of artifacts and documents from Bell's years of experimental work in Baddeck. Day 9 - June 10 2021: Cabot Trail (B,L) Breakfast at hotel Today your journey takes you around Nova Scotia’s famous Cabot Trail. This area is considered one of the world's most scenic destinations, with stunning ocean vistas, old-growth forests, prehistoric rock scarred by glaciers, and the mysterious Cape Breton Highlands. En route you will have lunch at a scenic local restaurant. Overnight in Baddeck: Auberge Gisele’s Inn
Day 10 - June 11, 2021: Baddeck - Halifax (B,D) Breakfast at hotel. Check out of your hotel this morning and then you will visit the Museum of Industry. This museum is dedicated to the story of Nova Scotia work and workers and aims to explain how Nova Scotia was affected by the opportunities and challenges of the Industrial Age. Then you will continue back to Halifax for an afternoon at leisure. Tonight gather together for a wonderful farewell dinner to wrap up your wonderful tour. Overnight in Halifax: Barrington Hotel
Day 11 - June 12, 2021: Baddeck - Halifax (B) Breakfast at hotel. Bid farewell to Nova Scotia as you transfer to the airport for your return flight back to Denver
